OTB 8.0.0 release candidate n°2

Dear all,

A second release candidate for OTB version 8.0 is available !

The associated binary packages can be downloaded from the website package page :

  • OTB-8.0.0-rc2-Win64.zip for Windows 64 bits
  • OTB-8.0.0-rc2-Linux64.run for Linux
  • OTB-8.0.0-rc2-Darwin64.run for Mac OS X

The git tag associated to this release candidate is 8.0.0-rc2. It is also possible to checkout the branch with git:

git clone https://gitlab.orfeo-toolbox.org/orfeotoolbox/otb.git OTB -b release-8.0

The main changes since rc1 are the addition of some convenient functions to the API, and the capability to read more SAR metadata.

This rc2 also includes several bugfixes.

The documentation for OTB 8.0.0 can be found here. In particular, a release note and a migration guide may help you to upgrade your filters and applications.
