We are happy to announce that OTB version 8.1.2-rc1 has been released!
Ready to use binary packages are available on the package page of the website:
- OTB-8.1.2-rc1-Darwin64.run (Mac OS)
- OTB-8.1.2-rc1-Linux64.run (Linux)
- OTB-8.1.2-rc1-Win64.zip (Windows 64 bits)
You can also use the official docker image
It is also possible to checkout the branch with git:
git clone https://gitlab.orfeo-toolbox.org/orfeotoolbox/otb.git OTB -b release-8.1

This patch version addresses some interesting bug fixes in the Python API, in some applications such as Mosaic, ManageNoData, Orthorectification…
It also provides full compatibility with RedHat 8 and Ubuntu 22.04. The previous releases were built against CentOS 7 which is deprecated.
