The version 8.0.1 of OTB is now available.
Ready to use binary packages are available on the package page of the website:
- OTB-8.0.1-Linux64.run (Linux)
- OTB-8.0.1-Win64.zip (Windows 64 bits)
- OTB-8.0.1-Darwin64.run (Mac OS)
It is also possible to checkout the branch with git:
git clone https://gitlab.orfeo-toolbox.org/orfeotoolbox/otb.git OTB -b release-8.0
The documentation for OTB 8.0.1 can be found here.
This patch version:
- Fixes a bug with the Python API
- Upgrades the zlib dependency to version 1.2.12
- Upgrades the Ggal dependency to version 3.4.2
- Fixes a formatting problem in the documentation
It also adds a link to the Docker image to the documentation.

The DiapOTB remote module hasn’t migrated to OTB 8.0 yet. Still, the last version of DiapOTB (1.1.0) brings consequent improvements to the module. The purpose of this patch release is to upgrade to this new version of DiapOTB.
